Gluten friendly ready meals: what that means

Many Thrive meals are labelled "No Gluten Added": no gluten ingredients go into them. Because our kitchen also handles gluten, we call these meals gluten friendly.

Suits you if you're cutting back

If you're reducing gluten by choice, or simply prefer meals without wheat-based ingredients, our "No Gluten Added" meals make it easy.

Not suitable for coeliac disease

Our kitchen handles gluten and wheat, so cross-contact can happen. If you have coeliac disease or a wheat allergy, please choose a certified gluten-free provider.

Gluten free vs gluten friendly

LabelWhat it means in Australia
Gluten freeNo detectable gluten, under the Food Standards Code. Thrive meals don't carry this claim.
No Gluten Added (gluten friendly)No gluten-containing ingredients are used, but the meal is made where gluten is present. This is how Thrive labels these meals.
