We recently had the pleasure of supplying THR1VE meals to the Community Co-Op Sutherland Shire (CCSS).

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand for food relief is rising. CCSS is a collaborative project that is helping to feed local families in need.

We provided CCSS with ready meals for their food hampers, which also contain pantry items, fruit and veggies.

At THR1VE, we recognise that now, more than ever, food relief is critical. We look forward to continuing to support CCSS and other local organisations who are stepping up during this challenging time.

To: Thrive

Community Co-Op Sutherland Shire (CCSS), would like to extend a huge thanks to Thrive for supporting this food relief initiative across the Sutherland Shire.

The Community Co-Op Sutherland Shire (CCSS), is a newly formed collaborative project, created to provide a holistic response to the increasing food relief demand, driven by the COVID-19 pandemic. Delivered by a group of grass roots charities working together, CCSS creates a wholesale food supply for other Sutherland Shire charities, which then in turn can support their clients. CCSS is largely operated by volunteers and has been endorsed by Sutherland Shire Council.

We are in week 8 of operation and each week CCSS was able to provide hampers with pre-prepared meals, fresh fruit & vegetables and long life pantry items to more than 300 families each week, equating to just over 900 individual meals. This would not have been possible without the generosity and support of Thrive food.

On behalf of CCSS we sincerely thank you for the incredible support in helping feed those in distress.
