NDIS EXPLAINED

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a new way of providing support for people who are living with disability. It is a major reform of disability services, a whole life approach designed to provide the right support to each person's needs and goals. The NDIS pays for supports that are reasonable and necessary. Supports are related to a person's disability and are required for them to live comfortably and assist them to achieve their goals. Delivered meals are covered under Core Supports - Assistance with Daily Activities.

If delivered meals are considered reasonable and necessary in your plan, the NDIS will cover the cost of the meal preparation and delivery. The ingredient costs are the Participant's responsibility to pay.

Thrive offers breakfast, lunch and dinner options as well as fresh fruit, vegetable and protein boxes.
All of our meals are delivered fresh (not frozen) to your door weekly to over 4,500 post codes across Australia

 

NDIS Plans:

  • Thrive is currently undergoing NDIS accreditation / audit and awaiting approval
  • We can supply both self and plan managed meals whilst our application is undergoing final approval.
  • For self-managed plans, customers will pay in full upon ordering and will submit reimbursement directly through NDIS.
  • Thrive is a leader in preventative health and is passionate about supporting the participants of the NDIS scheme with delicious, high quality, healthy meals to assist in maintaining optimum health and wellbeing on a weekly program.
  • Thrive offers a well-trained, dedicated service and support team to assist our customers with their individual needs and enquires.

 

Delivery Information:

Our delivery team are able to provide a range of different delivery options such as delivery to your door, contactless delivery or assisted delivery.

  • Thrive meals come with 14 days shelf life and have easy to follow heating instructions. All meals and packaging are microwave friendly and do not require cooking on a stove or in the oven.

 

Food Safety:

Thrive's meals are produced in a HACCP approved kitchen which follows the highest food safety standards.

 

Payment:

  • We provide the following flexible payment options:
    • Customer claims direct from plan manager or support coordinator
    • Invoice split between customer and plan manager or support coordinator
    • Invoice direct to plan manager or support coordinator
  • Meal plans can be tailored to meet customer specific budget and funding allowance
